About Dr. Nicholas Chang
Dr. Nicholas Chang is an orthopaedic surgeon at Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital and Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital. He is a dual fellowship trained surgeon in upper extremity and trauma. In his elective practice, Dr. Chang has a special interest in shoulder and elbow arthroplasty, and arthroscopic procedures of the shoulder, elbow, and wrist.

Dr. Chang also works with the March of Dimes charity to provide orthopaedic subspecialty care to underserviced regions in Northern Ontario. He travels to Cochrane, Ontario a few times a year to conduct orthopaedic clinics.
Dr. Chang completed his medical degree at King’s College London (University of London) in the United Kingdom. His orthopaedic residency was competed at Memorial University. He also obtained a Master’s degree in clinical epidemiology. Following residency, Dr. Chang completed an upper extremity subspecialty fellowship at the Roth | McFarland Hand and Upper Limb Centre (HULC) at Western University in London. He subsequently competed a trauma and upper extremity fellowship at Sunnybrook Hospital, University of Toronto.

Dr. Chang has several publications in peer-reviewed journals and is the author of a number of book chapters in orthopaedic textbooks. His research has also been presented internationally. He has a specialist certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Dr. Chang has also volunteered on a medical mission to Haiti, providing acute orthopedic care to patients in need.
